There are just three days left to register for the early bird rate for the 15th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology (WSV).
Entitled Victimisation, justice and healing: Challenging orthodoxies, the symposium will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Western Australia, from 5-9 July 2015.
Western Australian Commissioner for Victims of Crime, Jennifer Hoffman, said the symposium was a great opportunity for professionals working in the sector to connect with their international colleagues and hear new approaches to responding to victimisation.
“It is great that Perth will be the host venue for this symposium, as it will bring academics, activists, practitioners and law reform delegates from all over the world to Western Australia to discuss projects and create progress in the sector,” Ms Hoffman said.
“The symposium will feature international keynote speakers as well as many concurrent sessions, so delegates can tailor the symposium experience to their own particular interests and areas of work.”
The early bird period closes on 14 May 2015. Register now to secure your conference ticket at a discounted rate. For more information and to register, see:
